Joanne Stohs has been teaching piano since 1983. 
She received her Bachelor’s in Music degree in Piano and Viola Performance from Brigham Young University in 1989 and her Master’s in Music degree in Piano Performance from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992. 

She teaches a full studio of enthusiastic piano students from elementary age to adult in her home in San Diego. She is the Branch President for the Northern San Diego County Branch of MTAC and is on the MTAC State Certificate of Merit® Council. She is also an active freelancer on the viola, piano and organ.

Lessons are usually given on a weekly basis for 30 or 45 minutes.  There are at least two studio recitals a year and opportunities to participate in MTAC festivals and events.  Lessons occur year round with breaks for major holidays.
